When it's really hot out, shave off your beard. Do it in stages to make it entertaining for others (carve in some text one day, take off the entire left side the next, etc). Or shave it off all at once to make it entertaining for yourself.

(Do this even if you're meant to host a performance in your beard in the near future. The term "beard" is relative.)

posted by jb, 09/27/11 performed by a john a few times including once possibly at the free church of public fiction where i removed it in halves. it was (mostly) wonderful to perform.
