Score / Notes
At Once by Other Ones is for contrabass and optional interactive electronics.  I'm biased, but I think the two versions are notably different and equally aesthetically rewarding.

If you choose to play it with electronics, please contact me through my website for the pd patch.  PD is a free, open source, real time computer music programming environment.  It runs on linux, mac, and windows.  (Download Pure Data here).  My patch probably has custom objects, which means it runs in linux and mac with no additional effort on your part.  If you want to play it with a windows machine, you'll need to compile the custom objects.  If you can't figure out how to compile custom objects and can't talk someone else into doing it for you, you should probably stick to the acoustic version.  The interactive electronics have an algorithmically generated spatial component that maps onto 2, 4, 6, or 8 speakers for performance flexibility.
