About / Bio
Cristyn Magnus lives in Albany, New York.  She misses the Southern California twenty-four hour lifestyle, with burritos and coffee shops whenever she wants them.  She is a visiting scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she plays found objects with the Tintinabulate ensemble.  She has a garden where she grows enough vegetables to feed two people and their friends.  She spends too much time on the computer.  She recently managed to do a forward flip without hurting herself or anyone else.  She spends far too much time thinking about agent based systems, processes, relationships, dynamical systems, and so on.  An avid hater of laundry, she embraces the notion that laziness leads to increased creativity.  She spends so much time programming that she thinks she can program people; she's not sure there's a difference between an algorithmic composition and an algorithmic performance.  She finds fresh salsa easy, but she has yet to master hot sauce.
