Machine Manners

Score / Notes
In preparation for the extension of non-speciesism around intelligent, sentient machine personhoods in the possible future, the saying of "thank you" and other such grateful customs towards the service machines of today...when a cash machine ejects your cash for you, when a successful transaction is completed on a self-service checkout, when a document is copied and/or printed out for you, ad infinitum. Also:

To requite the Welcome screen, et cetera, of a recently activated machine with a similarly polite greeting; to wish it a good bye upon shutting it down.

To refrain from abusing machines in any way as much as possible when a malfunction occurrs; instead, comfort, re-assure, heal and rehabilitate as one, like me and you, would a sick and/or injured fellow organic life-form.
